Meeting of the President of the SAO with ambassadors of EU countries, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Commission

On 25 January 2017, President of the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) welcomed the ambassadors of EU countries, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the head of the Representation of the European Commission at an annual meeting.
In the course of the meeting, President of the SAO informed the guests about changes that have taken place at the Supreme Audit Office since the last meeting. Primarily, he mentioned constant development of data processing and using information from public sources. He also explained the initiative of an international project at the supreme audit institutions´ level of the Visegrad Group countries, Austria and Slovenia. This project could be later elaborated into a wider international cooperation directed at comparable data and their use for creating performance indicators.
The guests were also informed about the Report on the EU Financial Management in the CR (EU Report 2016). Furthermore, they were acquainted with last year´s international activities of the SAO.
