Why join BIEP?

to collect and share information easily
to bring new perspectives to the research problem
to find out other approaches to the audited area
to identify audit criteria and the best practice
to define audit recommendations in accordance with the best practice
to display better feedback to citizens and public budget administrators
to perform external oversights to contribute to public integrity and accountability

Rules of engagement

Data and information within BIEP are shared on the Extranet. All Extranet users must respect the confidentiality of information acquired while performing activities within BIEP. Users should not use or disclose any such information without proper and specific authority from the SAI that shares its data and information within the Extranet.

The Czech Supreme Audit Office is the provider of the Extranet but is not responsible for the content stored by other SAIs in this cloud. SAIs who join BIEP have to follow the fundamental principles of this project. According to these principles, if any SAI wants to use BIEP results that contain information, data, methods from other SAIs, and wants to disclose this data, then it should ask the SAI concerned for permission to publish them.
