3rd meeting of the Implementation Team of the Strategic Goal 1

On the basis of the EUROSAI Strategic Plan 2017-2023, according to which the Supreme Audit Office chairs the team for the implementation of the Strategic Goal 1 - Professional Cooperation, the 3rd meeting of the Implementation Team of the Strategic Goal 1 was held in Liberec on 9-10 October 2019. The meeting was attended by EUROSAI members who lead project groups under the Strategic Goal 1 as well as EUROSAI working group chairs.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss the progress of the different EUROSAI projects and working groups, new information regarding EUROSAI and the XI EUROSAI Congress. There was also a workshop on the BIEP (Benchmarking Information Exchange Project) platform, a project that helps auditors to share ideas and experience based on the same methodology for a specific audit area. The founder of the project is the Supreme Audit Office.
The meeting also included the testing of the so-called automatic translators for the XI EUROSAI Congress planned for 2020 (this Congress was eventually held online in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic).
