Meeting of the Project Group on EUROSAI Regulations

The Supreme Audit Office (SAO), as Presidency of EUROSAI and Head of the EUROSAI Portfolio on Overall governance and culture, is responsible for the smooth and orderly running of the entire EUROSAI organisation.
With the approach of the XII EUROSAI Congress and the handover of the Presidency to the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of Israel, it was necessary to update the General Rules of the organisation to be in line with the new EUROSAI Strategic Plan and to facilitate the leadership of EUROSAI by the future Presidency.
The meeting in Prague was attended by representatives of the SAO, EUROSAI Secretariat, SAI Israel and representatives of SAI Türkiye. The agenda of the meeting was mainly the update of the above-mentioned rules. Part of the meeting was also devoted to other EUROSAI matters such as the preparation of the XII EUROSAI Congress, information on the new EUROSAI website, the proposal to amend the Statutes, etc.
