Contact Committee
Cooperation between the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of the European Union and the European Court of Auditors (ECA) takes place within the framework of the Contact Committee structure. This structure consists of the Contact Committee itself, composed of the Heads of the EU SAIs and the ECA, the Liaison Officers, who provide an active network of professional contacts around Europe, as well as working groups, networks and other initiatives on specific audit topics related to the EU.
The Contact Committee meets once a year in one of the EU Member States.
Liaison officers meet regularly in order to prepare the meetings of the Contact Committee and to coordinate its activities. The SAO´s liaison officer is Ms Petra Lanská (petra.lanska (at) nku.cz)
The SAO is active in the following working groups and initiatives of the Contact Committee:
- Working Group on Value Added Tax;
- NGEU: RRF-related SAI cooperation at auditors’/working level;
- EU Network Audit on Energy;
- Fiscal Policy Audit Network;
- Access to data project.
