"I am glad that the deputies approved my proposal. Thanks to her position, my colleague Slancová has extensive knowledge of the work of the SAO and is able to identify possible risks in the procedures and processes of our work and thus prevent them. Her past experience, work commitment and ability to communicate effectively with both subordinates and management will be of great use to her in conducting audits. I believe that she will be an asset to the SAO in her new position," commented Miloslav Kala, President of the SAO, on Slancová's election. He also welcomed her election because she will strengthen the representation of women in the SAO Board.

Ladislava Slancová has been working at the SAO for fourteen years and, in addition to managing the Internal Audit Department, she is a cyber security auditor. Under her leadership, the department reviews and evaluates the SAO's internal control system. In the SAO Board, she will replace Roman Procházka, who died suddenly in February this year.
