The President of the Chamber of Deputies appointed Mr Roman Sklenák as a new Member of the SAO

Today, a new Member of the SAO, Mr Roman Sklenák, swore the oath before the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Mr Radek Vondráček. Deputies elected him to his office on 15 September 2021.

Mr Roman Sklenák, 51, was born in Brno and graduated from the Faculty of Law and subsequently from the Faculty of Education at Masaryk University. He currently holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Budgetary Control of the Chamber of Deputies. He was a member of this Committee from 2010 to 2013. In 2011 and 2012, he also chaired the Subcommittee on Audit over the Financial Management of Public Administration. From 2003 to 2010, he worked at the Brno regional office of the Office for Government Representation in Property Affairs, where he held, among other things, a leading position in the field of property management. Prior to that, he worked in the private sector.
