39th EUROSAI Governing Board Meeting

On May 28–29, 2012, a delegation of the Supreme Audit Office headed by Vice-President Miloslav Kala attended 39th meeting of the EUROSAI Governing Board, which took place in Ankara, Turkey, and later took part at a symposium, which aimed at supreme audit institutions and their functions in the process of securing transparency, credibility, and integrity.
On May 28, 2012, at the annual meeting of the Governing Board, Vice-President Miloslav Kala presented a report on activities of the Goal Team 3 Working Group, which the SAO has chaired since 2011. On May 29, 2012, a symposium was held to commemorate 150th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Court of Accounts. With regard to the importance assigned to both events, top representatives of European as well as non-European audit institutions attended the events, including president of INTOSAI, president of ARABOSAI, and president of the European Court of Auditors.
