At their 4th meeting, representatives from SAO and BRH focused on parallel audits of public supply tenders and anti-corruption measures
On March 14–16, 2012, delegates from the Bundesrechnungshof (BRH) met with representatives from the Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic (SAO). The meeting took place in Prague.
Working groups from both the supreme audit institutions discussed materials from previously performed audits and their findings, and focused on differences in legislatures of their countries, which are related to audits, and made a comparison with the EU legislature. While there are minimum differences within the primary legislature, the secondary legislature is different in both the countries. Both the countries’ legislatures follow (with minor exceptions) the EU directive on public supply tenders.
Future activities of the working groups will focus on the preparation of the joint final report.
