Auditor General of the Republic of Cyprus visiting the SAO

Press Release – June 16, 2010


On June 16–19, 2010, representatives from the Audit Office of the Republic of Cyprus Ms. Chrystalla Georghadji, Auditor General, and Mr. Andreas Kourtellis, Director of Audit, are going to visit the Czech Republic and to meet with president of the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) František Dohnal.

The visitors to the SAO will debate various issues concerning the auditing in the Czech Republic and Cyprus and exchange the basic information on functioning of their supreme audit institutions. They will focus on specific auditing problems within the field of information technologies. In the end of the meeting, the visitors from Cyprus are going to discuss possibilities of the future cooperation between the SAO and the Audit Office of the Republic of Cyprus.
