Delegates from Indonesian SAI at the SAO
Press Release – October 4, 2010
From September 29 to October 3, 2010, eight delegates from the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia led by Board Member Mr. Moermahadi Soerja Djanegara visited the Supreme Audit Office (SAO). Vice-president of the SAO Mr. Miloslav Kala welcomed the delegates at the SAO headquarters.
The Indonesian delegates aimed at getting information on audit proceedings, standards, and methodology, which their colleagues from the Czech SAO use when performing audits.
During the event, delegates of both supreme audit institutions (SAIs) discussed two important issues, e. g. audit of privatization and financial audit. Representatives from the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia were informed of the course and current state of privatization in the Czech Republic, the native system and regulations related to financial auditing, and the international auditing standards implementation. The guests were given an overview of SAO audits performed, their focus and results. Indonesian delegation members presented a review of audit finding of the Audit Board of Republic of Indonesia. Participants praised the meeting’s benefits to both parties and agreed on the possibility of future professional co-operation of the SAIs.
