Mrs. Hana Hykšová appointed a Member of the SAO Board

The Board of the Supreme Audit Office is complete again: In today’s secret vote, Members of the Chamber of Deputies elected Mrs. Hana Hykšová to be 15th Member of the SAO’s Collegium. Out of 161 casted votes, 122 voted for her. Hana Hykšová will be sworn in by the President of the Chamber of Deputies.

“I am glad that Mrs. Hana Hykšová gained such a strong support from members of the Chamber of Deputies. She is a skilled professional. I am sure she possesses all abilities to contribute greatly to the SAO’s performance", said president of the SAO Miloslav Kala.

Hana Hykšová is 58 years old and has been working at the SAO since its formation in 1993. For the last six years, she has managed the SAO’s regional department in Ústí nad Labem. As an auditor, she focused on environmental auditing as well as the area of agriculture.

Hana Hykšová studied animal husbandry and graduated from University of Agriculture in České Budějovice. Then she continued in a postgraduate program at Institute of applied ecology and eco-technology of the University of Agriculture in Prague, where she focused on landscape formation and protection.

Hana Hykšová is married and has two children.
