Ms. Hana Pýchová to become a new Member of the SAO Board

The Board of the Supreme Audit Office is complete: RNDr. Hana Pýchová was elected today to be the 15th Member. Ms. Pýchová achieved 95 votes out of 144 during a secret ballot in the Chamber of Deputies. She will be sworn in by the Chair of the Chamber of Deputies.
“I am glad that Chamber of Deputies elected Ms. Pýchová, who has large experience with project management. Such skills are necessary for management of auditing operations. As she has practised in the private sector as well as in the state administration sphere, we can presuppose that Ms. Pýchová will become a valuable reinforcement of the Board of the SAO“, said President of the SAO Miloslav Kala.
Ms. Hana Pýchová is 59 years old and she has worked as an economical assistant in the Faculty Hospital Bulovka and in the Thomayer Hospital and as a project management specialist in the state-owned enterprise Czech Post. Ms. Pýchová’s professional career began in 1979 when she started to work as a mathematical analyst in Strojimport and later she worked in the same position in ČKD Polovodiče in Prague.
Hana Pýchová studied numerical mathematics at Natural Science Faculty of Palacký University in Olomouc, where she successfully passed the rigorous exams in 1982 and was awarded the RNDr. title (Doctor of Natural Sciences). Hana Pýchová was born in Trhové Sviny in České Budějovice District in southern Bohemia, is married and has two children. She has never been a member of any political party.
