President of the SAO to attend a seminar in Berlin

From April 9 to 11, 2008, a seminar dedicated to the issue of leading supreme audit institutions will be organized in Berlin under the auspices of EUROSAI. As the supreme audit institution (SAI) of Germany presides over EUROSAI at this time, the seminar will be held at the Bundesrechnungshof.
The Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic (SAO) and its representatives were invited for the seminar and asked to speak upon various organizational schemes of SAIs. František Dohnal, president of the SAO, is about to give a presentation, which would focus on collegiate control within audit institutions.
Delegates from other SAIs are coming to the seminar, including Dieter Engels, chairman of EUROSAI and president of the Bundesrechnungshof, Árpád Kovács, president of the Hungarian State Audit Office, Manuel Núňez Pérez, General Secretary of EUROSAI and president of the Spanish Court of Auditors, Rasa Budbergyté, Auditor General of Lithuania, and Kurt Grüter, Director General of the Swiss Federal Audit Office.
