President of the SAO to lecture at Czech universities

By the end of March 2008, president of the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) František Dohnal is to run on a series of lectures for university students. In addition to the two topics discoursed during Dohnal’s lectures at Czech universities last year, the newly prepared presentation targets the following items: 1. The status of the SAO and its role within the administration of the Czech Republic, 2. Planning, realisation, and evaluation of the SAO audits, 3. General knowledge acquired from the SAO audit activity.
“The fundamentals of the SAO operations and accomplishments of the audits should be presented an appropriate way to experts as well as to the general public. I assume that providing this information is elementary. Last year, I found out that while addressing the university students, I could contribute to transmitting the information about the SAO. I enjoyed the interest paid to my lectures by the university students,“ said Dohnal.
The first lecture on this year’s programme was given at the University of Economics in Prague. The other lectures will be given in Brno, České Budějovice, Ostrava, Karviná, Olomouc, Karlovy Vary, and in Ústí nad Labem.
