Representatives from the SAO visited Slovakia

From October 18 to 19, 2010, representatives from the supreme audit institutions of the Czech Republic and Slovakia met in Bratislava, Slovakia. Well trained auditors from both the SAIs informed the participants on auditing operations, which are being performed or prepared.
The aim of the meeting was to exchange experiences with preparation and realization of audits, which focused of financial management in European Economic Area and financial arrangements in Norway and in Switzerland. Preparation of the audit reports on audits, which are aimed at employment chances of the disabled, was among important issues discussed at the meeting. Delegates from the Slovakian and Czech SAIs have agreed upon possibilities of their future co-operation, namely within the field of funds earmarked for meeting the goals of the migration and asylum policies of the European Union.
