Representatives of two supreme audit institutions to sign a communiqué in Slovakia
Press Release
May 22, 2007
There are two reasons for the president of the Czech Supreme Audit Office, František Dohnal, to meet his Slovak counterpart, Ján Jasovský, on May 24–25, 2007. A coordinated bilateral audit of consumer taxes is being finished by a mutual audit report release and, at the same time, the representatives are going to make a contract to do an international financial audit within environmental fields.
The report on “Cooperative Audits of Czech and Slovak Consumer Tax Administrations in 2006” was prepared last September during an international workshop in Bojnice, Slovakia. The participants also agreed on the mutual report release date. The report will be produced in tree languages – Czech, Slovak, and English.
In order to frame up tripartite simultaneous audits in the environmental fields, representatives of supreme audit institutions of Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, and Slovenia met last April in Bratislava, Slovakia. During the workshop, the participants set up on a cooperation accord among the parties concerned and they built up the aim and process of the intended audit.
A cooperation agreement is about to be confirmed at the meeting of František Dohnal and Ján Jasovský, which takes place on May 24–25, 2007 in Slovakia. President of the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia, Igor Šoltes, will join his signature to the agreement by correspondence.
