SAO hosted delegates from the Lithuanian Committee on Audit

From April 21 to 23, 2008, delegates from the Committee on Audit of the Lithuanian Seimas paid a visit to Prague. During the two-day trip to the Czech Republic, the delegates visited the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament and several sights in Prague.
Aside of an appointment with Vladimír Koníček, Chairman of the audit committee of the Czech Parliament, and his co-members, the programme of the Lithuanian representatives also included a visit to the headquarters of the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) and a meeting with František Dohnal, president of the SAO, scheduled for April 23.
"The visitors inquired about the status of the SAO within the state administration and activities of the SAO. They also took up the topic of the state budgeting and hearing of SAO's audit results and findings,“ said Dohnal.
