The Czech Supreme Audit Office is organising a performance audit seminar
The Czech Supreme Audit Office is organising a performance audit seminar entitled Experience with the implementation and development of performance audits in reaction to challenges and opportunities in a changing environment, which will be held in the Hilton Hotel in Prague on April 27 – 29, 2009. The seminar is officially listed as the EUROSAI Training Event.
The primary aim of the seminar is for participating SAIs to share their experiences and learn lessons from other SAIs about how they implement the requirements included in the INTOSAI Implementation Guideline for Performance Auditing, the secondary aim of the seminar is to strengthen the networking of SAIs in performance audit field by encouraging participant SAIs to make useful contacts. The seminar will consist of 4 separate workshops devoted to the following topics:
- Strategic planning of performance audits;
- Developing audit questions;
- Technical issues in preparation of performance audits;
- Building quality into the performance audit processes.
At the beginning and at the end of the Training Event, all participants will gather for the introductory session and for the summing up session respectively. About 80 experts from 26 supreme audit institutions and from the European Court of Auditors have registered for the seminar.
