The Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic (SAO) and the supreme audit institution (SAI) of Poland finished co-ordinated audit operations, which aimed at funds utilized for implementation of projects within the Operational Programme Cross-border Co-operation the Czech Republic – Poland 2007–2013. The parallel audit was carried out as stipulated in the Agreement of Cooperation between the SAIs. The outcomes of the cooperation were published in a joint audit report, which summarizes evaluations of the projects and analyses management and control systems, individual projects’ results, and legality of all audited activities.
During the meeting in Ostrava, President of the SAO Miloslav Kala and President of the SAI of Poland Krzysztof Kwiatkowski signed the joint audit report. Press conferences in both countries followed – the Czech press conference took place in Ostrava and the Polish press conference took place in Opole, Poland.
