Visit of the Chinese delegation from the Ministry of Supervision to the Supreme Audit Office, Czech Republic
A six-member delegation from the Ministry of Supervision of the People's Republic of China visited the Czech Republic on July 9 - 13, 2006. The delegation was led by Mr Wu Yuliang, Senior Inspector of the Ministry. The main objectives of the visit were to obtain information about the system of audit in the Czech Republic and about fight against corruption.
The first day of the visit took place in Prague and was dedicated to giving basic information about the SAO, such as the organisational structure, mandate or audit activities, which was followed by information about corruption and a discussion.
On the second day the delegation visited one of the regional offices in Central Bohemia, where they were informed about the activities of regional offices of the SAO and about the use of information technologies and systems. The Czech party was headed by Mr Dušan Tešnar, vice president of the SAO, and the delegation paid a short courtesy call to the president of the SAO, Mr František Dohnal as well.
