Visit of the president of the Bundesrechnungshof (BRH) to the Supreme Audit Office, Czech Republic
Prof. Dr. Dieter Engels, the president of the BRH, visited the SAO on 8th and 9th of June 2006. The aim of his visit was to meet the president of the SAO, Mr Frantisek Dohnal, and to identify and discuss issues of possible future co-operation between these two audit institutions. Representatives of both SAIs also focused their dialogues on the actual parallel audits on VAT and on motorway D8/A17 (Prague - Dresden). On the first day of the meeting both presidents also signed the Contract on Co-operation in Audit Work in the field of VAT management.
