Vice-president of the Supreme Audit Office (1993–2002)

Date and place of birth: February 3rd, 1945, Prague

Before 1975, Peřich was a blue-collar worker. Later he became a librarian and IT expert at the Design Institute. In 1981, Peřich graduated from the Charles University in Prague. (He studied at the Faculty of Arts after work.) From 1987 to 1990, Peřich was a research worker at the institute for construction information. Till 1993, he worked as a specialist assistant at the Faculty of Education of Charles University.

In 1992, he was elected to the Chamber of the Nations of the Federal Assembly of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic as a member of the coalition of Civic Democratic and Christian Democratic parties. Peřich vice-chaired the Chamber of the Nations before the Czechoslovakia dissolved in 1993. He also served as a member of the Governmental Committee, which prepared the Constitution of the Czech Republic.

Peřich held the position of the vice-president of the Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic from July 8, 1993, to July 7, 2002.
