Cílem kontrolní akce bylo prověřit, zda příprava silničního spojení Brno–Vídeň (R52) dává předpoklad k efektivní realizaci investice, včetně vyhodnocení rizik pro financování prostřednictvím operačního programu Doprava. Veškeré zjištěné skutečnosti nasvědčují tomu, že alokace veřejných finančních prostředků na pořízení rychlostní silnice R52 nebo R55 je v současnosti riskantním investičním krokem.

The continuous compounding of support of the expansion of industrial zones found deficient and unconvincing

Auditors from the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) performed an audit of the funds utilized for investments in industrial zones and for regeneration of the territories, buildings and facilities from 2004 to 2008. Among the audited bodies were the Investment and Business Development Agency – CzechInvest, and several grant recipients including the Statutory City of Brno, the municipality of Kolín, Moravian-Silesian Region, and the ŠKODA HOLDING, Inc.

The Czech Republic to fall behind the implementation schedule given in the Council Directive concerning urban waste-water treatment

From June 2008 to February 2009, auditors from the Supreme Audit Office performed an audit that aimed at investment ventures developed in the field of waste-water treatment within the period from 2004 to 2008 and their formal correctness and accuracy. The auditors focused on the administration of European Union funds and the implementation of corrective measures, which had been taken on the basis of the previous audit.

Nejvyšší kontrolní úřad (NKÚ) prověřoval přípravu a realizaci velkých investičních akcí v oblasti čištění odpadních vod z hlediska formální a věcné správnosti. Prováděl kontrolu administrace nástrojů stanovených pro poskytování prostředků z rozpočtu Evropské unie a ověřoval také plnění opatření přijatých v této oblasti na základě předchozích kontrol.

Allowance organizations founded by the Ministry of Education kept unconvincing accounts

From September 2008 to February 2009, auditors from the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) audited the Ministry of Education and its administration of the state budget chapter in 2007 as well as the allowance organizations founded by the Ministry of Education and their finance management. According to the auditors, the Ministry failed to evaluate or agree to depreciation plans while setting down the operating benefits of the audited organizations.

Zástupci Nejvyššího kontrolního úřadu v čele s prezidentem Františkem Dohnalem představili ve středu 20. května poslancům a pozvaným hostům Zprávu o finančním řízení prostředků Evropské unie v České republice – EU report 2009.
