The national registry of administrative buildings contains false data and lacks information on thousands of building
The Supreme Audit Office (SAO) performed an audit that aimed at administrative buildings situated in Prague, which are owned and used by six selected ministries. Auditors scrutinized renting of office premises by the ministries and prices, which the ministries charged for leasing of their own office facilities. The audited period was from 2011 to 2013.

Seminar on SAI´s Communication Challenges
On June 4–6, 2014, the Supreme Audit Office was organising a seminar entitled “SAI´s Communication Challenges”, which aimed at communication, public relations, and media. Among attendees to the event were communication experts from supreme audit institutions of Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, and Greece and from the European Court of Auditors.

Kontrola se týkala let 2011 až 2013 a kontrolovány byly resorty financí, obrany, vnitra, práce a sociálních věcí, dále pak Ministerstvo pro místní rozvoj a ministerstvo školství. The Supreme Audit Office (SAO) scrutinized the Czech Industrial Health Insurance Company (CIHIC) and its management with public funds collected under the law within the period 2009–2012. IX EUROSAI Congress
On June 16–19, 2014, the ninth triennial convention of the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) was held in Haag, the Netherlands. In relation to the central theme of the IX Congress, which was innovation, the supreme audit institution of the Netherlands approached the convention in an innovative way and organized many sessions and workshops.
Kongres EUROSAI
Ve dnech 16. až 19. června 2014 se v nizozemském Haagu konal IX. kongres EUROSAI (organizace sdružující evropské nejvyšší kontrolní instituce). Vzhledem k tomu, že hlavním tématem kongresu byla problematika inovací, pojala nizozemská nejvyšší kontrolní instituce kongres netradičně, např. uspořádáním velkého množství workshopů, které vyžadovaly aktivní zapojení všech účastníků.
NKÚ zkontroloval další zdravotní pojišťovnu
Nejvyšší kontrolní úřad prověřoval hospodaření České průmyslové zdravotní pojišťovny za období let 2009 až 2012. Jednalo se o hospodaření s veřejnými prostředky vybíranými na základě zákona a kontrolován byl i proces slučování s dalšími zdravotními pojišťovnami.
The Ministry of Health paid CZK 3.2 million for an unimplemented project’s preparations and termination
The Supreme Audit Office (SAO) performed an audit of the Ministry of Health and its management within the period 2010–2013. Auditors scrutinized the Ministry’s management of assets, expenses in the amount of CZK 521 million, and costs of ICT technologies, travel expenses, gift and representation costs, and expenses on advisory, legal, and consultancy services.
Ministerstvo zdravotnictví zaplatilo 3,2 milionu korun za přípravu a ukončení projektu, na kterém se ani nezačalo pracovat
Nejvyšší kontrolní úřad se zaměřil na hospodaření Ministerstva zdravotnictví v letech 2010 až 2013. Prověřil, jak nakládalo s majetkem, a jeho výdaje za celkem 521 milionů korun. Kontroloři se soustředili mimo jiné na náklady, které ministerstvo mělo v souvislosti s IT technologiemi, na výdaje za cestovné, dary, za konzultační, právní a poradenské služby nebo na náklady na reprezentaci.

Ve dnech 4. – 6. června 2014 pořádal NKÚ v Praze seminář se zaměřením na komunikaci, PR a média. Semináře se kromě českých zástupců zúčastnili odborníci z nejvyšších kontrolních institucí Estonska, Finska, Litvy, Lotyšska, Moldavska, Nizozemska, Polska, Řecka a Evropského účetního dvora.

Road and Motorway Directorate ordered without tendering, divided contracts into lesser ones, and discriminated tenderers
The Supreme Audit Office (SAO) scrutinized the maintenance and seasonal repairs of main roads and motorways within the period 2010–2013. Maintenance and repairs costs amounted to CZK 31,500 million and were funded by the State Fund of Transport Infrastructure and the Ministry of Transport.
