On September 18–20, 2012, an international Seminar on Application of Software Tools in Audits took place in Prague. The training event was hosted by the Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic (SAO), under the auspices of EUROSAI.

On September 18–20, 2012, an international Seminar on Application of Software Tools in Audits took place in Prague. The training event was hosted by the Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic (SAO), under the auspices of EUROSAI.
The audit aimed at 2011 balance accounts and financial statements of the Czech Social Security Administration. The audit report concludes that total inaccuracy of the accounts amounted to CZK 694.7 million. The on-going reformation of the public finance accounting system, which began in January 2010, has been accompanied with difficulties. New regulations were ambiguous, thus made it difficult for organisational units of the state to comply with them.
Hlavním cílem kontroly bylo ověřit spolehlivost účetní závěrky a finančních výkazů ČSSZ za rok 2011. Podle NKÚ celková nesprávnost v účetní závěrce představuje částku 694,7 milionu korun. Reformu účetnictví veřejných financí, která začala v lednu 2010, provázely i v roce 2011 obtíže. Některé nové předpisy nebyly jednoznačné, což ztěžovalo organizačním složkám státu jejich naplnění.
The Supreme Audit Office (SAO) performed an audit aimed at Regional Operational Programme “North-East” and its implementation within the period 2007–2011. Auditors scrutinized 13 selected projects with the investments totalling to CZK 373.4 million. The audit revealed that out of the payments, CZK 27.4 million had been ineligible.
Nejvyšší kontrolní úřad se zaměřil na regionální operační program u Regionální rady regionu soudržnosti Severovýchod. Kontroloval její hospodaření v letech 2007–2011. Kontroloři prověřili 13 projektů za 373,4 milionu korun a zjistili, že 27,4 milionu bylo proplaceno neoprávněně. Regionální rada přitom v kontrolovaném období prověřovala každou žádost o proplacení dotace.
