Cílem kontroly bylo prověřit postup správců daně při evidenci a účtování daňových příjmů a souvisejících nákladů a výnosů, daňových pohledávek a závazků.

The SAO audited funds earmarked for the construction of the ring road around the capital city of Prague
The audit aimed at funds earmarked for preparation and construction of the ring road. According to the documents submitted by the Ministry of Transport in 2001, the construction should have been finished in 2008 with the length of 83 km and the total cost amounting to CZK 48,229 million. Until the audit operation only 41 km (sections Satalice–Běchovice and D1–Ruzyně) had been finished, with the cost amounting to CZK 34,818 million.…

Návštěva vietnamské delegace
Dne 3. května 2012 přijal NKÚ delegaci expertů a vedoucích pracovníků vietnamského Ministerstva pro plánování a investice vedenou vrchním inspektorem ministerstva. Návštěva vietnamské delegace byla součástí vzdělávací cesty, kterou delegace uskutečnila v institucích v České republice i sousedních zemích.

Cílem kontroly bylo prověřit poskytování, čerpání a použití peněžních prostředků určených na výstavbu silničního okruhu kolem hlavního města Prahy.

Ve dnech 24. – 26. dubna 2012 zorganizoval NKÚ v Praze mezinárodní seminář věnovaný otázkám kvality kontrolní činnosti. Seminář se uskutečnil pod patronátem uskupení, které sdružuje nejvyšší kontrolní instituce (SAIs) přistupujících, kandidátských a potenciálně kandidátských států pro vstup do EU a Evropský účetní dvůr.
Granty na výzkum v oblasti evropských financí a externí kontroly
Evropský účetní dvůr a European University Institute vytvořily grantový program věnovaný výzkumu v oblasti evropských veřejných financí.

The aim of the auditing operation was to scrutinize allocation, drawing, and utilization of the funds earmarked for the development and renewal of the material-technical base of the Police of the Czech Republic. Auditors scrutinized activities of Ministry of Interior, which administered the programmes and the state budget funds, as well as activities of regional police directorates that received the funds.
