The SAO audited funds provided from the financial mechanisms of the European Economic Area and Norway

The auditors scrutinized funds in the amount of EUR 37.5 million (which is about CZK 903 million with the exchange rate 1 € = CZK 24.095) provided from financial mechanisms of the European Economic Area and Norway and from the state budget. Schůzka pracovní skupiny EUROSAI pro sdílení vědomostí

Ve dnech 16. a 17. listopadu 2011 se v Praze uskutečnila první schůzka pracovní skupiny EUROSAI pro sdílení vědomostí pod vedením NKÚ. Pracovní skupina vznikla na základě strategického plánu EUROSAI pro roky 2011 – 2017, který pro členy EUROSAI definuje čtyři nové strategické cíle. Jedná se o tyto cíle: posilování kapacit, profesní standardy, sdílení vědomostí a řízení a komunikace.

Presentation of findings and evaluation of the VAT parallel audits

On October 19, 2011, a presentation of findings and evaluation of parallel audits, which aimed at administration of Value Added Tax (VAT), took place at the Supreme Audit Office (SAO). The second parallel audit was conducted within years 2008–2010 by two supreme audit institutions: the SAO and the Federal Court of Auditors – Bundesrechnungshof (BRH).

Annual meeting of Contact Committee of the heads of supreme audit institutions of EU countries and European Court of Auditors

On October 13–14, 2011, the Contact Committee met in Luxembourg. Delegates from supreme audit institutions of EU candidate countries, and representatives INTOSAI Development Initiative, EUROSAI, and SIGMA were invited to the meeting as well.

The SAO audited funds earmarked for improving competitiveness of agriculture and forestry under the Rural Development Programme

The audit aimed at state budget funds and financial resources from the European Union provided for implementation of projects in the area of improvement of competitiveness in agriculture and forestry of the Czech Republic (Axes No. I of the Rural Development Programme for period 2007–2013) and scrutinized whether the funds had been utilized in agreement with the pre-set conditions.

NKÚ zkontroloval peněžní prostředky určené na zlepšení konkurenceschopnosti zemědělství a lesnictví podle Programu rozvoje venkova

Cílem kontroly bylo prověřit, zda peněžní prostředky státního rozpočtu a Evropské unie určené na zlepšení konkurenceschopnosti zemědělství a lesnictví ČR (OSA I Programu rozvoje venkova České republiky na léta 2007–2013) byly poskytnuty a použity v souladu se stanovenými podmínkami.

The SAO audited funds earmarked for improving the environment and landscape under the Rural Development Programme

The audit was conducted as a pilot project for audits coordinated by the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) and the European Court of Auditors (ECA), which was carried out on the basis of the Memorandum concluded between the two institutions on July 14, 2010. The auditing procedures followed the International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAI).

Kontrolní akce byla prováděna jako koordinovaná kontrola NKÚ a Evropského účetního dvora (dále jen „EÚD“) na základě memoranda o porozumění, které uzavřely NKÚ a EÚD dne 14. července 2010. Kontrola byla prováděna v souladu s mezinárodními standardy nejvyšších kontrolních institucí (ISSAI).

The SAO audited the state budget funds spent on indemnities for maladministration or illegal decisions

The audit scrutinised the funds designated for indemnities paid under Act No. 82/1998 Sb., on liability for damage caused by the execution of public authority by illegal decision or incorrect official procedure, and on amendments to Czech National Council Act No. 358/1992 Sb., on notaries and their activities (the Code of Notarial Practice).
